Changing Fluid in the Guider Cooler

Required equipment:

Procedure:

1. Turn off power to the black box.

2. Disconnect power from outlet

3. Disconnect hoses from guider per Guider removal instructions, while grounded.

4. Open black box.

5. Unscrew the captive screws from the guider box

6. Pull the guider box out until you are able to reach the small phillips head screws from the rear of the compartment

7. Remove the 4 phillips head screws that attach the top of the box to the side panels

8. Using a thin flat head screw driver, carefully pry the top up from the sides of the box until you are able to grip it to remove it.

9. Using rubber tipped wrench, carefully unscrew the reservoir lid (The white container in the upper right corner of the box)

10. If adding liquid, pour in liquid until the level reaches the ring of the reservoir. Skip to step 15.

11 . If changing the liquid in the reservoir, use the syringe to remove liquid from reservoir.

12. If liquid is in the tygon tubing, gently depress the end piece of the tubing to allow air to enter, and hold tubing to a level higher than the reservoir until tubing empty.

13. Once liquid is removed, use a syringe to re-fill the container.

14. To fill the tubes, again depress the ends, and hold the tube lower than reservoir to fill.

15 . Replace cap to reservoir, and tighten well with rubber padded wrench.

16. Replace box top and phillips head screws.

17. Replace guider box to its location and screw into place.
