End of Semester Information
NS 102 L11 and L12H
Spring 2006
Prof. Bechtold
Instead of a review session, I will have office hours 1-4pm on Monday,
May 8. Stop by if you have any last-minute questions, or make an
appointment for a different time via email. My office is Room
328, in Steward Observatory.
The Final covers everything we've done in the class, and Chapters 1-23
in the book. Chapter 24 is about astrobiology and we have covered
very little of it, but see the class notes. As always, the book
covers some material which we didn't cover and you are not responsible
for that. You are responsible for material that we covered in
class which is not in the
text.
The most important things to study are
(1) the class notes, homework and labs
(2) the practice quizzes, and
(3) the questions on Midterms 1, 2 and 3.
The final is in the ILC lecture hall on Tuesday, May 9 from 11am-1pm.
It will be multiple choice, like the midterms.
Please bring your ID.
FINAL GRADES:
We will post final grades on D2L within 2 days of the final exam,
and we will post a description of how they were calculated on the class
web page.
You may pick up papers and the final when it is graded outside my
office, Room 328 in Steward Observatory.
